Foundation Academic Programs:

  1. Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud Foundation Program for Special Education at the Arabian Gulf University:

    Started in 1417 H, this program consists of many activities such as:

    • Fellowships offered under the Foundation name for students pursuing High Diplomas or Graduate studies in the field of Special Education.
    • Organizing scientific conferences and symposiums.
    • Conducting research and studies in the field of Special Education.

  2. Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Program for Arabic & Islamic Studies at the University of Berkley , CA , USA:

    Started in 1418 H, this program consists of many activities such as:

    • Visiting Professors Program ( aiming to utilize distinguished professors from Saudi Arabia and the Arab & Islamic world to teach related subjects).
    • Visiting Scientists and Graduate Students Program (aiming to support academic staff, Post-Graduate students and students at Berkley University studying in majors related to Arab & Islamic world).
    • Research Fund to support research conducted by this program.
    • External Communications Fund (aiming to support the public activities performed by the program).
    • Establishment of the Middle East Studies Center with proper offices and conference rooms and halls.

  3. King Abdulaziz Center for Arabic & Islamic Studies at University of Bologna , Italy:This center aims at serving Arabic & Islamic studies in Italy.

  4. Conducting a comprehensive, scientific research on Alzheimer disease in Saudi Arabia:

    Started in 1416 H and lasted for three years. It covered all the Kingdom regions. The research was published and distributed to all concerned agencies and organizations.

  5. Supporting several centers, institutions and colleges in and out Saudi Arabia.
  6. Supporting scientific conferences, symposiums and meetings.
