The charitable and humanitarian work that we are honored to perform, for the sake of Allah, requires the provision of true and honest efforts as well as all resources and facilities in order to achieve the noble objectives expected by all benefiting categories.

I, my sons the members of the Board of Trustees and all the members of the Foundation and its subsidiaries, keep Allah the almighty in our minds in every effort we perform, and no matter how much we do are always eager to do more for the whole society so that this Foundation can perform its noble mission.

I would like to emphasize that this Foundation would have not been able to carry all of its activities without the endless support it receives from My Lord the Custodian of the Tow Holy Mosques, may Allah bless him.

Finally, I pray that Allah the almighty to bless all of us and guide us to the right way.

With Allah help and blessings, Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud Foundation has completed its tenth year while being proud of offering its humanitarian services with unlimited and generous support and care of its founder, My Master, His Royal Highness Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees.

The Foundation and its subsidiaries steps forward with determination to achieve its noble goals, seeking in doing so the acceptance of Allah then the materialization of the hopes of My Master His Royal Highness the Chairman of the Board of Trustees who continuously emphasizes the importance of feeling and comprehending the great responsibility shouldered by the members of the Foundation and its subsidiaries to provide every honest and sincere effort in carrying out our duties while thriving to achieve the distinguished services hoped from this unique organization.

This book is an attempt to shed some light on the various services and activities of the Foundation and its subsidiaries, and to introduce it to the widest sector possible to benefit from it.

May Allah the almighty to reward the founder and guardian of this Foundation and its subsidiaries, and May Allah bless all of us.

Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud Foundation

Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud Foundation was established by the Royal Decree No. A/77 dated Sha'aban 20th , 1415 H, corresponding to January 21st , 1995. it is a Charity Foundation with an independent legal standing that was founded by His Royal Highness Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.

Vision:

“To become a leading Charity Organization and to effectively participate in serving the community from a humanitarian side in such a manner that deserves the name of the Founder and Guardian of this Organization”.

Mission:

“Helping People to Help themselves”.

Goals:


  1. To provide social, health and comprehensive rehabilitation services to the handicapped and elderly from both genders, and for any other cases the Board of Trustees may see it be included in the spectrum of offered services according to the approved by laws.
  2. To establish recovery and rehabilitation centers as well as nursing homes, and to provide highly qualified human resources and advanced clinical and medical equipment.
  3. To spread awareness amongst the community of the necessity to use the means and tools of home and social care for the handicapped and elderly, and to assist in providing them if and when needed. Also, to spread awareness of identifying early aging signs and physical and mental impairment in order to prevent them or minimize the likelihood of its happening.
  4. To provide aiding tools and equipment to assist the handicapped and elderly to adapt to their conditions. Also to provide all resources to assist them to lead a normal lifestyle or at least ease their agony so they can be full members of the society.
  5. To provide the necessary resources to conduct research in the field of humanitarian services offered by the Foundation, academic and applied studies in all fields related to handicapped, early aging and its disorders, to know the causes and how to prevent it. This will be done in collaboration with universities and specialized institutes. Results will be available for all related government agencies, local, regional and international organizations that are concerned with such services and issues and cooperation will be established between them and the Foundation by which information and expertise will be exchanged and technical relations will be developed.
